Art in the Park

The Minneapolis Institute of Arts, in close collaboration with the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board, is delighted to present Art in the Park, a free summer program of youth workshops in the Minneapolis parks.

Classes

Each summer, Art in the Park takes place in Minneapolis parks with recreation centers. MIA instructors visit each park three to five times, bringing with them fun hands-on art lessons, a creative range of materials, and inspiring reproductions of artwork from the collection. Each year, youth participants engage in a special art-related theme.
