![]() Luke Axelson & Josh Ritenour "Field Inversion," 2012 (installation views) © Minneapolis Institute of Arts/Dan Dennehy MCAD@MIAThursday, March 15, 2012Sunday, June 17, 2012 "Field Inversion" is a site-specific sculpture by Minneapolis College of Art and Design (MCAD) students Luke Axelson and Josh Ritenour. Its sinuous shape is based on a set of connected geometrical planes that create an elegantly simple but mathematically complex suspended sculpture. As visitors go up and down the three-story Target Wing staircase, they can experience dramatic views from different vantage points. |
