This holiday season, bring your friends and family to the MIA for music in the galleries, carolers, free tours led by costumed guides, self-guided tours of festive art objects from around the world, and more.

Tours: A self-guided tour takes visitors to celebratory objects, from Max Beckmann's joyous painting, The Skaters, to a Native American Butterfly Maiden Kachina to a traditional Hanukkah lamp and dreidel, and many others. Plus, docent-led tours will begin at 1 p.m. every day during the week, and at 11:30 a.m., 1, and 2:30 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.

Hear holiday carolers in the galleries on Saturdays and Sundays from 2 to 4 p.m.
