Join a celebration of spring featuring engaging events, floral demonstrations, and more than 100 floral interpretations of art in the MIA's world-class collection. Sponsored by the Friends of the Institute, this festive fund-raiser is free and open to the public.

Wednesday, April 24 Preview Dinner & Silent Auction

Thursday, April 25 Keynote Speaker Chris Giftos, head event and floral designer for the Metropolitan Museum of Art for 33 years

Luncheon

Friday, April 26 Floral demonstration and workshop by Ardith Beveridge from Koehler & Dramm Institute of Floristry.

Flowers After Hours with music from around the world. Plus, a surprise appearance by acclaimed Minnesota-born artist Jennifer Steinkamp, creator of Hurdy Gurdy Man, Art in Bloom 2013's signature artwork!

Saturday, April 27 AIB Family Day: free!

Sunday, April 28, final day. New this year, AIB program available in March at friends.org.

Proceeds from Art in Bloom support projects such as education and transportation for school children, exhibitions, art acquisition and restoration, and a new MIA initiative in the African galleries, designed to reach underserved youth and communities.
